This site is published by a licensed independent insurance brokerage. Its content is general educational information about insurance products, eligibility rules, and enrollment processes. It is not legal, tax, medical, or individualized financial advice, and reading it does not create a broker-client relationship.
Nothing on this site is an offer of insurance, a binder, or a guarantee of coverage. Coverage exists only when a carrier issues a policy and the required premium is paid. No content here modifies the terms of any policy, and where this site and a policy document disagree, the policy document governs.
This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the federal government, HealthCare.gov, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, or any state exchange.
Insurance rules change by plan year, and carrier networks, formularies, and rates change between and sometimes within plan years. Content is researched against primary sources and reviewed periodically, but no page can be guaranteed current at the moment you read it.
Eligibility for premium tax credits, cost-sharing reductions, Medicaid, and CHIP is determined by the Marketplace or the applicable state agency, never by this site or by an agent. Estimates produced by calculators on this site are illustrative and are not eligibility determinations.
Plan availability, provider networks, drug formularies, and pricing must be confirmed in the plan's own documents and with the provider or pharmacy directly before you rely on them.
A licensed broker is appointed with specific carriers and can present products from those carriers. This is not the complete set of plans available in any given market. For ACA Marketplace coverage, the official Marketplace preview tool displays the full on-exchange menu for your ZIP code.
Compensation generally comes from carriers in the form of commissions included in policy premiums rather than from client fees. Using a licensed agent does not increase the premium on an ACA Marketplace plan; the price is set the same regardless of enrollment channel.
This site links to government and carrier resources for verification. Those sites are operated by others, and no responsibility is accepted for their content, availability, or privacy practices.
By providing a phone number or submitting a form, you consent to be contacted about your inquiry by phone, text, or email. Message and data rates may apply, and consent can be withdrawn at any time by request.
Site content, layout, and original written material are the property of the publisher and may not be reproduced or republished without permission. Carrier names and marks referenced are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.
This site is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for loss arising from reliance on general information published here, or from the unavailability of the site. This does not limit any obligation owed to a client under applicable insurance law or regulation.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Nothing here limits your right to complain to your state department of insurance, which retains authority over licensed producers operating in your state.
These terms may be updated. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Several words in these terms have specific meanings in an insurance context that differ from ordinary usage, and the difference occasionally matters.
A quote is an estimate of premium based on information supplied and is not an offer of coverage. A binder is temporary coverage issued by a carrier pending a final policy, and nothing on this site issues one. A policy is the contract between you and the carrier, and it is the only document that determines what is covered.
A producer is a licensed individual permitted to sell insurance in a given state. An appointment is a separate authorisation from a specific carrier permitting a producer to sell that carrier's products — which is why licensing and product availability are different questions.
Eligibility determination means a formal decision by the Marketplace, Medicare, or a state agency about whether you qualify for coverage or financial assistance. Nothing published here, and no statement by an agent, constitutes one.
Where these terms conflict with a policy document, a carrier's written statement, or a determination by a government body, those govern and these terms do not.
This site aims to meet recognised accessibility standards so that it can be used with screen readers, keyboard navigation, and text resizing. If you encounter a page that is not usable with assistive technology, reporting it is genuinely useful and it will be treated as a defect rather than a request.
Assistance is available in English and Spanish, and this site publishes substantive content in both rather than machine-translating one into the other. If you need assistance in another language, say so when you make contact and an interpreter arrangement can be discussed.
Services are offered without regard to race, colour, national origin, age, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation. ACA Marketplace plans themselves cannot deny coverage or vary price on the basis of health status or pre-existing conditions — that is a feature of the law rather than of any individual practice.
If you believe you have been treated unfairly by a producer or a carrier, your state department of insurance accepts complaints and has authority over licensed producers operating in your state. For Marketplace-specific issues, the Marketplace operates its own appeals process.
Federal and state rules govern how insurance producers may contact consumers, and a few of those rules are worth knowing as a consumer rather than only as a compliance matter.
Consent to be contacted by phone, text, or email is given when you provide a phone number or submit a form on this site, and it can be withdrawn at any time by asking in writing or verbally. Withdrawing consent for marketing does not affect servicing communications about a policy you already hold, which are permitted separately.
For Medicare specifically, federal rules restrict unsolicited contact. A producer generally may not cold-call you about Medicare Advantage or Part D plans without a prior request, and sales calls relating to those plans are subject to recording requirements. If you receive an unsolicited Medicare sales call, that itself is a signal worth treating with caution.
This site does not sell contact information to lead aggregators or marketing list brokers. If you receive unsolicited insurance marketing after using this site, it did not originate here, and reporting it is useful.
